Please read these terms carefully before using Vender.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Vender ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vender. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Platform Description

Vender is a digital marketplace that connects clients seeking artisan services with skilled professionals. We are an intermediary platform and are not a party to the actual service agreements between clients and artisans. We do not employ artisans, and artisans are independent contractors.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use our Platform, you must be 18+, provide accurate info, choose account type, and verify your phone number.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality and all activities under your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 For Clients

  • Provide accurate job descriptions
  • Pay for services as agreed
  • Confirm job completion in good faith
  • Provide honest ratings and reviews

4.2 For Artisans

  • Accurately represent skills
  • Deliver services as described
  • Complete jobs within timelines
  • Maintain necessary licenses

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Escrow System: Client feeds the escrow before work begins. Funds release on completion confirmation. Auto-release applies if no dispute is raised.

5.2 Direct Payments: If paying outside escrow, the Platform is not responsible for any payment issues.

5.3 Platform Fees: Transaction fees apply to completed jobs and will be disclosed before transactions.

5.4 Refunds: Determined through the dispute resolution process. Platform fees are non-refundable.

6. Dispute Resolution

Either party may raise a dispute. Escrow funds are frozen during review. Our customer care team reviews evidence objectively. Decisions include full/partial payment, refunds, or cancellation and are final.

7. Ratings and Reviews

Ratings must be honest and based on actual experience. Offenseive or defamatory content is prohibited. Only verified users can leave reviews. Platform may remove violating reviews.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not provide false info, engage in fraud, harass others, circumvent fees, post harmful content, or hack the platform. Illegal use is strictly prohibited.

9. Intellectual Property

All Platform content is owned by Vender. Users grant us a license to use their uploaded content. Copying or modifying platform functionality without permission is prohibited.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS". We do not guarantee quality of artisan services, accuracy of user info, or uninterrupted service. We are not liable for disputes between users.

11. Limitation of Liability

Vender is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Vender from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by your local jurisdiction's laws. Disputes shall be resolved in the relevant courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Review periodically.
